Are you the handy all-rounder who's always ready to get hands-on?
No two days are the same: one moment you're fixing a hoist crane, the next you're checking whether all the tools are still in working order. As GSE/Facilities Employee, you're responsible for all Ground Service Equipment (GSE) and tools in and around the building. GSE stands for Ground Service Equipment — all the equipment used on the ground to maintain, load/unload, and prepare an aircraft, such as hoist cranes, platforms, tow/pushback vehicles, and ground power units. You carry out small repairs yourself, and arrange for anything bigger to be outsourced. You work systematically, but improvise when needed — the goal is to prevent breakdowns rather than fix them after the fact. You make sure the rest of the team can always count on sharp tools and working equipment.
Waar ga je werken? You'll be working for a leading, independent aircraft maintenance organization in the Maastricht region. No office cubicle here, but a hangar full of aircraft — an environment where you literally see the results of your work. You'll be part of a small, international team with short lines of communication and little bureaucracy. Full-time, day shift.
