As a Sheet Metal Worker, you carry out repairs and maintenance work on aircraft components. You work precisely, following fixed specifications and using professional tools. Good to know: around 20-30% of your work is administrative. This includes reading and working with technical drawings and manuals, in English. You'll switch between these two sides of the trade throughout the day: working with your hands, and carefully reading documentation.
Waar ga je werken?You'll be working for a leading, independent aircraft maintenance organization in the Maastricht region. You'll be working right alongside the aircraft, as part of an international team with short lines of communication. It's a full-time position.
Wie ben je?- MBO+ level of thinking and working: good with your hands, with an eye for detail and patience for the administrative side
- Open to recently graduated with internship experience
- You have an affinity for sheet metal work or metalworking (e.g. As an automotive body repair technician)
- You can read and understand English well (technical drawings and manuals are in English)
- You don't have a 9 to 5 mentality and are open to work in the evening or weekends if needed (after 8 months of employment)
- Starting salary: €2800 - €3300 (depending on experience)
- 25 vacation days and 8% holiday allowance
