Orchard Worker - Pear Thinning in Cothen (Full-time, €14.71/h, Accommodation Provided)

As an Orchard Worker, your main task will be thinning pears in the orchard. Pears grow in clusters of five, and you will carefully remove the smallest pear from each cluster, following clear instructions. You'll work together with the owner, making sure the trees produce high-quality fruit. No experience is needed - what matters most is your willingness to work outside and learn on the job. Working hours are arranged with the owner to suit both your needs.

A typical day starts in the green orchard, where you and the owner check the trees and begin thinning. The work is physical and requires attention to detail, but you'll never be on your own - the owner will guide you and answer your questions. You'll enjoy being active in the fresh air, with breaks as needed.

This job is perfect if you enjoy outdoor work, want to learn more about fruit growing, and like a calm, friendly work environment. Accommodation is available directly at the orchard in Cothen, so you don't have to worry about finding a place to stay. Basic English skills are sufficient for this position - understanding simple instructions and the ability to communicate at work.
