As a part-time bike courier at DHL Express in Rotterdam, you start your shift at the depot, where you grab your loaded bike and scan your packages. After a short check of your route and gear, you head into the city. Throughout the day you cycle through different neighbourhoods, deliver parcels to homes and offices, and stay in touch with your colleagues via your handheld device 📱. You work daytime shifts, enjoy the variety of the city, and finish your day back at the depot, where you hand in your bike, complete your last scans, and have a quick chat with the team before heading home 🌇.

What you gonna do here:

•  Deliver packages by bike in Rotterdam in a safe and timely way.
• ️ Check, follow, and adjust your route so you can work efficiently through the city.
•  Have friendly and professional contact with customers at the door.
•  Scan, sort, and check packages at the depot so everything stays accurate.
•  Contribute to cleaner city logistics by using the bike for sustainable deliveries.

•  Hourly wage €16,60–€21,58 plus flexbudget
•  Flexible shifts between 24–40 hours per week
•  Weekly or four-weekly payments, direct pension accrual
• ️ 8% holiday pay, 10% vacation hours, travel allowance

You are a reliable, city-minded bike courier who enjoys outdoor work, smooth customer contact, and helping Rotterdam move in a sustainable way.

• You are comfortable cycling through busy streets in Rotterdam, regardless of the weather.
• You have a solid knowledge of Dutch traffic rules and safety.
• You are physically fit and able to lift packages of varying weights.
• You are available 3–5 weekdays, always including Friday.
• You have good English communication skills for interacting with customers and DHL colleagues.
• You have an affinity with logistics, route planning, and efficient cycling.
