For a logistics client in Roermond, we are looking for an order picker who ensures that orders are correctly collected and prepared for shipment. This is a long-term position, where you will start through Olympia and, if performing well, be taken over by the client.

As an order picker, you are responsible for collecting and processing orders within the warehouse. You walk through the warehouse to gather products and then prepare them for shipment.

Your responsibilities include:

• Collecting orders in the warehouse
• Unrolling materials on a work table
• Packing products into boxes
• Providing packages with the correct labels
• Checking orders before they are shipped
• Maintaining a clean and safe workplace

You will start working in a day shift. After the summer, the client will switch to a two-shift schedule. In this setup, you will work one week in the day shift and the following week in an evening shift.

For working in shifts, you will receive a shift allowance of 8.75% on top of your salary.

You will be working for a logistics service provider in Roermond, specialized in storage, inventory management, and distribution for international clients.

The location is easily accessible from Roermond, Venlo, Weert, Peel en Maas, Echt-Susteren, and Sittard-Geleen.

For this position as an order picker, we are looking for someone who enjoys being active and can work accurately.

In addition:

• You have a good command of the Dutch or English language
• You are available full-time
• You are willing to work in two shifts after the summer

You will start as an order picker through Olympia. If you perform well, the intention is that you will be taken over by the client.

The employment conditions are in accordance with the collective labour agreement for Professional Freight Transport (Beroepsgoederenvervoer).

You can expect:

• A gross hourly salary of €16,90
• A shift allowance of 8.75% once the two-shift schedule starts. Then your salary will be €18,38 an hour.
