Orderpick Teamleader - Nightshift

While everyone else is asleep, you and your team make sure every restaurant kitchen has everything it needs the next morning. You're the backbone of the night shift: keeping a cool head, maintaining the pace, and holding the team together. Wat ga je doen?

At our client's warehouse, you ensure hundreds of orders go out the door every night, on time, every time, supplying restaurants, hotels and hospitality businesses across the region. You make sure your team delivers, on the floor, not on the sidelines.

What you'll be doing

• You directly manage a team of order pickers on the floor, you're present and hands-on, stepping in yourself when needed
• You monitor logistical KPIs such as orders picked per hour and adjust where necessary to ensure every order leaves on time
• You share responsibility for delivery quality: the right products, the right quantities, no mistakes
• You keep your team motivated through a long night, even at 3am, you maintain the energy and the pace
• You coach and guide your team members, spot where someone is struggling and help people grow
• You work closely with other team leaders and the operations manager to keep the night operation running smoothly
• You maintain records on attendance, output and incidents, and hand over your findings at the shift changeover

Wie ben je?

• Demonstrable experience (3 to 5 years) as a team leader or shift supervisor in a logistics environment
• MBO+ level of thinking and working, with a proven track record in team management and process optimisation
• You know how to bring a group along with you, even in challenging moments
• Available for night shifts and weekends
• Experience with SAP is a plus, but not a hard requirement
