Logistics Employee - Night Shifts - GLS

Wat je gaat doen As a logistiek medewerker at GLS in Utrecht, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics hub. You’ll be part of a dynamic team, ensuring that packages are handled efficiently and safely while adhering to our quality and safety standards. This role offers a hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and teamwork are key. No prior experience? No problem! We’ll provide you with the necessary training to succeed.
What You Will Do:

• Handle goods: loading, unloading, scanning, sorting, and restacking items, including mini’s and NOCO’s.
• Operate tools: work with equipment like hand pallet trucks or electric pallet trucks (EPTs).
• Inspect packages: check for irregularities, including hazardous materials (ADR), and report findings.
• Maintain standards: follow quality, safety, and environmental guidelines as outlined in the staff handbook.
• Contribute to the workspace: ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment while addressing and reporting deviations to the team leader.

• Salary of approximately €3,000 per month (including allowances and based on a 40 hour workweek)
• Temporary contract with the prospect of permanent employment.
• Part-time position, minimum 16 hours per week.
• Holiday pay and allowances ranging from 8.75% to 11.25%.
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer.
• Training to operate electric pallet trucks (EPT).

Functie-eisen We are looking for a motivated team player eager to grow in logistics.

• MBO 1 work and thinking level.
• Proficiency in Dutch or English.
• EPT certificate is a plus.
• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
