Senior Export Desk Representative

A glimpse into a day as a Senior Export Desk Representative:

• Manage international export and import operations with a strong focus on trade compliance and documentation accuracy.
• Prepare and review export documentation, customs paperwork, Incoterms, HS classifications, and origin-related documents.
• Coordinate with brokers, forwarders, and internal teams to resolve customs, compliance, and shipment-related issues.
• Research and develop efficient, compliant international shipping routes while assessing risks, lead times, and import requirements.
• Support country-specific import processes, including certifications, labeling, registrations, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate shipment and compliance records while continuously improving operational processes and controls.

RequirementsÖur client is looking for someone who:

• Has 3+ years of experience in export, logistics, supply chain, or a similar operational role.
• Is knowledgable in trade compliance and regulations in the export market.
• Works in a structured and detail-oriented way, even under pressure.
• Understands international shipping processes, customs procedures, and trade compliance.
• Communicates clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
• Enjoys problem-solving and taking ownership of processes from start to finish.
• Is proactive, analytical, and comfortable working in a dynamic international environment.
• Has strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
