Do you like being on the road, staying active and making customers happy, while still having enough time for your study and social life in Nieuw-Vennep? At DHL Express in Nieuw-Vennep you work in a professional, friendly depot where you start and end your day with colleagues, but spend most of your shift independently on your own route.

In this role you build valuable experience in customer contact, time management and responsibility for your own van and route. You quickly get to know a fixed region and regular customers, which makes your work predictable and gives you room to become faster and more confident every week. DHL Express offers training on the job, clear procedures and the chance to grow into other logistics or customer-focused roles if you want to develop your career further.

You also benefit from a good hourly wage of €16.60 plus 6.24% flex budget, 8% holiday allowance, travel allowance and a flexible contract of 24–32 hours per week. You start with a temporary contract, with a real chance of a permanent one when things go well for both sides.

A day:

• Route preparation:

  You start at the depot, check your van, scan and load parcels in a logical order so you can work efficiently and safely on the road.

• Driving and navigation:

  You drive mainly a fixed region, follow the navigation system and adjust your route when needed to deliver on time.

• Parcel handling:

  You lift, sort and deliver parcels carefully, making sure everything arrives undamaged and at the right address.

• Customer contact:

  You greet customers, answer simple questions, handle signatures and represent DHL Express in a friendly and professional way at every door.

• Administration and safety:

  You work with a hand scanner, keep your delivery data up to date and follow all traffic and safety rules to keep yourself and others safe.

• 💶 Hourly salary from €16.60 plus 6.24% flex budget.
• 🕲 Flexible 24–32 hours, shifts between 08:00 and 19:00.
• 📅 Choose weekly or four-weekly salary, temporary-to-permanent contract.
• 🗺️ 8% holiday allowance plus €0.23/km travel reimbursement.

You enjoy being on the road, helping customers and working independently in and around Nieuw-Vennep.

• Valid B driving licence for at least two years
• Available at least three days, 24–32 hours weekly
• Living within commuting distance of Nieuw-Vennep
• Customer-focused, friendly and clear in Dutch or English
