Bell pepper harvester

As a Bell Pepper Harvester, you are responsible for harvesting bell peppers in a modern greenhouse environment. The process is supported by advanced technology to ensure high quality and efficiency; however, the harvesting itself is done manually and requires precision and care. You will work as part of a friendly team, cooperating closely with colleagues to meet daily production targets. The work takes place in a warm and humid greenhouse, where wearing safety shoes is mandatory to prevent slipping and to ensure safe work on adjustable carts that rise as the plants grow. The job requires flexibility, as working hours and workload depend on environmental conditions and the growth phase of the peppers.

You will start with training and receive ongoing support from a Team Leader. The average workload is 40+ hours per week, with a fixed start time and variable end time. Willingness to work 5.5 days per week, including occasional Saturdays, is required.

Job Requirements:

• Motivated and willing to achieve team-oriented goals
• Good eye/hand coordination and preferably right-handed
• You have the ability of differentiating colors, as paprikas are sorted in 3 different colors and not afraid of heights (the work is performed on harvest carts that can lift to the height of the paprika)
• Not afraid of spiders
• Preferably you speak English
• We are looking for people who want to work longer in the Netherlands. This can be continuous or several harvest seasons in a row, with a long vacation in the winter period.

• Company bonus – net bonus of €15 per week worked. Depending on how many weeks you work per year, a maximum of a net bonus of €780 per year can be saved, on top of the regular salary. For this you have to work at this company for at least 10 weeks (min. 3 days a week). In addition, you must also be working at the time of payment.
