As Maintenance Engineer, you are the backbone of a smooth-running production floor. When machines go down, you're the one who gets things moving again — but more importantly, you make sure they don't go down in the first place. You combine hands-on technical skill with a structured mindset: you don't just fix problems, you prevent them.
What you'll be doing
- Keeping production equipment in top condition and reducing unplanned downtime;
- Building and executing preventive maintenance schedules;
- Digging into the root cause of breakdowns — not just patching things up;
- Translating technical findings into clear documentation and practical improvement plans;
- Supporting the roll-out and commissioning of new equipment;
- Working with software controls for production machinery;
- Collaborating with production, management, and other departments on both day-to-day operations and longer-term reliability improvements;
- Monitoring facility and utility systems to ensure a safe working environment.

Wie ben je?- An MBO level 4 background in Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience);
- A proven track record in a maintenance role within a production environment;
- Good command of English, spoken and written;
- Flexibility to work in shifts and join an on-call rotation;
- Willingness to occasionally travel for training or visits to other sites;
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
- A contract for 7 months to start, with a clear ambition to extend into a permanent position;
- A gross annual salary of approximately €34,000 — excluding shift allowance;
- 8.33% holiday allowance on top;
