As Senior Operator in the pasteurisation department, you are the key operational point of contact for your shift team in a fast-paced food production environment. You are responsible for the pasteurisation of liquid egg products, supporting and guiding colleagues, and ensuring that all processes run safely, efficiently, and according to strict quality and hygiene standards. You also monitor equipment, resolve minor technical issues, and actively contribute to process improvements.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Operating and monitoring pasteurisation equipment for liquid egg products in accordance with customer specifications
- Supervising and coordinating a team of 2 operators during the shift
- Controlling and adjusting processes via SCADA (Citect) system
- Ensuring compliance with hygiene, safety, and quality standards (HACCP / BRC)
- Identifying and resolving minor technical issues and supporting smooth production flow
- Performing basic quality checks such as temperature measurements, calibrations, and product control
Work schedule (two-shift system):
- Morning shift: 06:00 – 14:45
- Afternoon shift: 14:45 – 23:30

Wat wij vragen
- MBO-level education and working/thinking level, preferably in food technology or process technology
- Experience in a food or production environment
- Experience in leading, coordinating, or guiding colleagues
- Strong communication skills, proactive attitude and good technical understanding
- Good command of Dutch and English languages
- Knowledge of HACCP, BRC, or sampling procedures is considered an advantage
