Warehouse worker- Morning Shift-GLS Utrecht

Wat je gaat doen As a logistics employee in the morning shift at GLS, you play a vital role in ensuring packages are processed efficiently and accurately. Together with your team, you make sure that customers receive their shipments on time. This is a physically active role where you follow safety guidelines and contribute to a smooth logistics operation. Your responsibilities include:

• Unloading packages from trucks and ensuring they are ready for sorting.
• Sorting packages based on their destination for timely delivery.
• Loading and stacking packages into trucks for transportation.
• Performing physical tasks such as walking, standing, and lifting throughout your shift.
• Carrying out additional tasks like cleaning and organizing the workspace.

• Hourly salary of €14.80, excluding additional allowances.
• Temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position.
• Part-time role with fixed morning shifts from 4:00-1:00.
• Allowances of 11.25% (4:00-5:00) and 8.75% (5:00-7:00).
• Travel reimbursement of €0.23 per kilometer.

• Proficiency in Dutch and/or English.
• Physically capable of performing active tasks.
• Available Monday to Friday, 4:00 AM - 12:00 AM.
• Comfortable working in a cold environment.
• VMBO education level, preferably in logistics.
