As a logistics employee (packaging), you ensure that all empty crates, kegs, and bottles are neatly sorted and stacked. You ensure that the logistics process continues to run smoothly.
Your responsibilities:
- Sorting and stacking empty packaging such as crates, kegs, and bottles;
- Keeping the outdoor area tidy;
- Moving packaging with an EPT (you’ll learn this on the job);
- Tidying up and keeping your workspace clean;
- Everything is done in a structured and organized manner. That makes the work as a logistics employee in packaging clear and enjoyable.
You’ll work day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. You’ll have evenings and weekends off.
Waar ga je werken?You will be working as a logistics employee in the packaging department at a family-owned business in the beverage industry with over 75 years of experience. The company has approximately 160 employees and handles the daily distribution of beverages to restaurants, bars, wholesalers, and supermarkets.
All products are transported from a modern 21,000 m² warehouse using a fleet of 40 trucks. The empty packaging is returned and processed in the department where you will be working.
You will be part of a team of about 14 colleagues. The atmosphere is informal, and everyone works together to get the job done.
Wie ben je?For the position of logistics packaging assistant, we are looking for someone who enjoys physical work.
What we require:
- You are fluent in Dutch;
- You are a real go-getter;
- You are reliable and punctual;
- No experience is necessary;
- Do you have forklift experience? That would be a plus.
You will be working as a logistics packaging assistant through Olympia on a temporary basis. The terms of employment are in accordance with the ABU collective bargaining agreement.
You will receive:
- A gross monthly salary of €2.751, including ADV compensation;
- 8.33% vacation pay;
- 25 vacation days on a full-time basis;
- Pension accrual through StiPP;
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer starting at 10 km;
- Full-time employment of 40 hours (32 hours negotiable);
- Working hours from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM;
- Opportunity for permanent employment after approximately six months;
