About the Role
For Samsung SDS Cello Logistics in Tilburg, we are looking for a QHSE Coordinator who understands that quality, health & safety, and environmental standards are not just about procedures, they are about people.
In this role, you will be the QHSE representative on site. You will primarily operate independently as the sole QHSE professional at the location. This requires confidence, ownership, and the ability to make decisions autonomously. At the same time, you will be part of a wider (international) QHSE and operational team, receiving guidance and support from colleagues when needed. The QHSE department is embedded in the facility team, so you will report to the facility manager.
You are a visible and approachable presence on the work floor. As a natural connector, you build bridges between departments, align stakeholders, and ensure that QHSE is embedded in daily operations. You understand how to influence behavior, create awareness, and foster a culture where safety and quality are shared responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with internal QHSE standards across operational processes
- Identify, report, and follow up on operational irregularities
- Report technical risks to the Facility Team
- Actively contribute to and follow up on the RI&E action plan
- Conduct internal audits and support external inspections
- Represent the organization during audits and regulatory inspections
- Prepare reports and translate findings into concrete improvement actions
- Develop, organize and deliver QHSE training sessions
- Conduct toolbox talks and awareness sessions for teams
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, cross-functional collaboration and safety awareness
Your Profile
You are not only technically competent in QHSE, but also socially strong. You know how to connect with people at all levels of the organization, from warehouse operators to management.
You are comfortable standing in front of a group and clearly communicating your message. Whether delivering a training session or leading a toolbox meeting, you know how to engage your audience in a practical and persuasive way.
You are able to work independently and take ownership, as you will be the main QHSE contact on site. At the same time, you value collaboration and know how to operate effectively within a broader team structure.

- Basic experience in QHSE within a logistics environment
- Bachelor-level working and thinking capability
- Experience drafting practical and audit-ready QHSE procedures
- Knowledge of relevant QHSE standards and preferably legislation
- Proficiency in MS Office and preferably experience with Safety Management Systems (SMS)
- Good command of business English (Dutch is a pre)
- A relevant QHSE qualification
- Auditor certification or willingness to obtain it
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to build bridges between departments
- Persuasive, proactive, and approachable
- Confident working independently as the sole QHSE professional on site
- Team-oriented and able to collaborate effectively with colleagues remotely or across locations
- Coaching mindset and supportive attitude
