Over de functie
As an independent cook, you make sure the kitchen runs smoothly. You work with clear recipes and photos. Much of the preparation is already done, so you can focus on quality and speed.
The difference is in the variety. You are not only doing prep. You are also involved in service and plating. You make sure dishes leave the kitchen at the right standard.
On quieter days, you work independently. During busy shifts, you work together with colleagues and a dishwasher. You stay organized and know what needs to be done.
Your tasks:
- You prepare and finish dishes based on recipes
- You work with pre-prepared ingredients and ensure consistent quality
- You work during service and handle plating
- You keep your workspace clean and organized
- You maintain pace and overview during busy moments
- You prepare staff meals with room for your own creativity
- You assist with mise en place and preparation

- You have experience working in a kitchen
- You can work independently
- You can communicate well in English
- You are available at least 2 days per week
- You are available for at least 1 weekend day

You work in Amsterdam Oud-West, on the Bilderdijkstraat.
Shifts take place between 09:30 and 23:00.
You work day and evening shifts.
You are available at least 2 days per week.
