As a part-time mail carrier at PostNL in Horst, you make sure everyone receives their mail on time. You can organise your own schedule, which makes this job very flexible.
Your day starts at the depot in your neighbourhood, where you collect the mail for your route. You sort the letters and get your bike ready. Then you’re ready to go! You cycle through the streets in your area and deliver mail to the correct addresses. Along the way, you enjoy the fresh air and often have a chat with people you meet.
This vacancy is for 3 hours per day from Tuesday to Saturday, which adds up to 15 hours per week. You can choose your own starting time, as long as all mail is delivered before 6:00 PM. This gives you the freedom to organise your work in the way that suits you best.

As a mail carrier, you work independently. You start your day by collecting the mail and have until 6:00 PM to sort and deliver everything. This allows you to largely determine your own pace and how you organise your day.
The location is accessible from Venray, Horst, America, Hegelsom, Meterik, Sevenum, Melderslo and Grubbenvorst. Do you live in one of these places? If so, you may even be able to cycle to the depot. Wie ben je?Anyone aged 16 or older can become a mail carrier. You are aware that you are the face of the postal company. That’s why you work accurately and have a customer-oriented attitude. You enjoy being outdoors and staying active. As a mail carrier, you like being on the move and making people happy with their mail.
What you need:
- A smartphone that you can use during work for communication and route planning
- A sturdy bicycle with a strong rear rack
- Availability in the morning or afternoon
- Flexibility to agree on a suitable schedule together
- A gross hourly wage of €14.71;
- 8% holiday allowance;
- Flexible working hours that can be easily combined with other activities;
- A part-time job of 15 hours per week from Tuesday to Saturday; approximately 3 hours per day;
- Work in your own town or nearby;
- You receive four weeks of holiday per year (based on full-time employment);
