Are you technically minded and do you enjoy working with metal in a modern production environment? For an innovative high-tech organization in the Tilburg region, we are looking for a Metal Production Operator who works accurately and values quality.
In this role, you will work with high-quality stainless steel components and be involved in various stages of the production process, from preparation and processing to testing and quality control.
As a metal production operator, you perform a versatile role where craftsmanship, precision, and quality are key. You interpret and execute work orders according to planning and work based on technical drawings. Your tasks include cutting and machining tube materials and cutting hoses to size, followed by preparing them through pressing and grinding. You will also perform finishing operations such as brushing and fitting components.
In addition, you will carry out various tests, including leak tests (such as air-under-water testing and helium testing), pressure drop tests, and high-pressure tests. You check products for quality and ensure they meet the required specifications. You will also set up machines, adjust them when necessary, and perform first-line maintenance to keep the production process running smoothly.
Besides the machining work, you perform repair work when needed and digitally register completed work orders in the system. You also support the development of new products and assist colleagues by providing guidance and instructions when required. In this position, you are also encouraged to think along about improvements to processes and working methods within the production environment.
Wat wij bieden- After an initial period through the staffing agency, there is the prospect of a direct contract with the client
- A gross monthly salary between €2,800 and €3,475, depending on experience and education
- Shift allowance of 13.3% when working in a two-shift schedule
- Excellent secondary benefits according to the Metalektro collective labor agreement, including:
- 27 vacation days, 8% holiday allowance and pension scheme
- Travel expense reimbursement
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Good command of Dutch and/or English
- Minimum MBO level 2 (technical education) or demonstrable experience in metalworking
