As a Business Development Manager in Arnhem you take ownership of the entire sales process. You use your commercial mindset to approach potential clients in international markets such as Germany, France, or Spain. You are responsible for generating your own leads, making cold calls, conducting sales meetings, and closing deals. The service you sell is a trend intelligence database used by major companies to stay ahead in their markets.
You are not afraid to pick up the phone and open new conversations. You understand how to sell a service rather than a physical product and know how to identify client needs and translate them into value. Because you work with international clients, you speak fluent English and at least one of the following languages: German, Spanish, or French. You will focus on the market of your strongest language and regularly travel to that country to visit clients in person.
What does my work week look like?
As a Business Development Manager in Arnhem, you work 32 to 40 hours per week in an independent and international role. You actively approach new prospects through calls and messages and schedule online or in-person meetings. You present the service, discuss client challenges, and work towards closing new business.
You also travel abroad to visit key clients and prospects in your market. Additionally, you follow up on conversations, prepare proposals, and maintain relationships with existing accounts. Closed a deal? Great! You celebrate success together with your international colleagues.
