As a lab technician you work in a laboratory where seeds are tested for bacteria and fungi. This is not a research position, but mainly routine laboratory work with many repetitive tasks.
What exactly do you do?
Prepare seed samples for testing.
Prepare media, solutions, and reagents needed for the tests.
Perform tests to check if harmful bacteria or fungi are present on the seeds.
Enter data into the computer system (labels, documentation, results).
Follow strict quality and safety procedures.
Keep the lab clean, safe, and organized.
Support colleagues when needed.

Wat wij vragen
- You have at least 2 years relevant work experience within a lab and sterile techniques
- You have knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint)
- You are familiar with ISO/ISTA rules
- You can communicate in English, both written and verbal (Dutch is a plus)
- You are physically able to lift 25 kg
