Maintenance Engineer – HVAC

A global pharmaceutical organization focused on developing innovative, patient-centric medicines. The Leiden site plays a key role in producing highly specialized therapies within a regulated GMP environment.

As an Maintenance Engineer- HVAC, you will support the reliability, compliance, and future readiness of clean utilities and HVAC systems within a pharmaceutical production environment. Acting as a key technical partner to the Business System Owner, you ensure installations meet strict quality, regulatory, and operational standards.

• Support the Business System Owner for HVAC, BMS, and EMS systems
• Manage HVAC asset packages to ensure long-term availability, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Support CAPEX planning, investment proposals, and budget rounds
• Contribute to change management (MoC), commissioning, qualification, and project handovers

• HBO work and thinking level with a technical background
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a GMP-regulated environment (pharma preferred)
• Strong expertise in HVAC systems, control strategies, and P&IDs
• Solid communication skills in English and Dutch with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
