Are you an organized and detail-oriented administrative professional with a hands-on mentality? Do you have experience in logistics and are you looking for a new challenge in Alphen aan den Rijn? Then this could be the role for you.
Over het werk

As an Administrative Logistics Assistant, you will have a varied role in which you are responsible for preparing orders for shipment and carefully packing components for international deliveries. You work accurately and efficiently and take ownership of your part in the logistics process. Together with your colleagues in the logistics team, you ensure that all orders leave the warehouse on time and in perfect condition.

You play a key role in checking and preparing (transport) documentation while maintaining the highest quality standards. In addition, you actively contribute to the implementation of a new Warehouse Management System (WMS). Currently, the team works with handheld scanners and printed order forms, making your input in this improvement process especially valuable.

The role also includes a physical component. You will seal and pack parcels weighing up to 15 kg. One to two days per week, you will handle larger shipments that are sent on pallets. For these shipments, you manage the entire logistics process: from packing and wrapping to arranging the accompanying documentation. These packages also weigh a maximum of 15 kg. The position consists of approximately 40% administrative tasks and 60% logistics work.

Daily communication with colleagues is in Dutch. As this is an international organization, administrative tasks and external email correspondence are mainly conducted in English.

Wat wij vragen
  • Experience in logistics; reach truck and/or forklift experience is a plus
  • Available Monday to Friday, with a start time of 09:00
  • Good command of both the Dutch and English language
  • You work accurately and have a strong eye for detail
  • A VGB (Certificate of No Objection) is required; therefore, it is important that you have lived in the Netherlands for the past 8 years
