We are looking for a forklift driver/production worker for the 5-shift system for a leading animal feed manufacturer in Ittervoort. In this position, you will be responsible for mixing meat with other raw materials and ingredients to create the right composition for the end product. You will work with a mixing installation and a forklift.
What will you be doing?
Operating a forklift truck to transport and move raw materials;
Operating mixing installations to create the right mixtures;
Ensuring a clean and safe working environment;
Recording production data;
Identifying and reporting deviations in the process.
You will work in 5 shifts, with the following working hours: 1:45 p.m. - 10:15 p.m., 9:45 p.m. - 6:15 a.m., 5:45 a.m. - 2:15 p.m. You will work 8.5 hours per day and be paid for 8 hours. You will work 6 days in a row and then enjoy 4 days off.
Waar ga je werken?You will be working for a specialist in animal feed. The company is highly automated and has modern machinery. The working atmosphere is open and informal, with colleagues working as a team. The temperature in the workplace can vary from cold to warm, and there are around 70 employees working at the Ittervoort site.
The company is easily accessible from cities such as Roermond, Weert, Venlo, Peel en Maas, Stein, and Sittard-Geleen.
Wie ben je?- You have a valid forklift certificate and demonstrable experience;
- You are fluent in Dutch, English, or German;
- You are willing to work in a 5-shift system;
- You are available full-time in the 5-shift system.
- Starting salary between €14.71 and €16.50 gross per hour, depending on experience and knowledge;
- Shift allowance of 28% on every hour worked, which amounts to an hourly wage between €18 and €19.20;
- Travel allowance of €0.19 per kilometer (from 10 kilometers);
- A year-end bonus of 6% on top of your hourly wage;
- Pension accrual from day one (via Stipp);
- Work clothing and work shoes are provided;
- The opportunity to obtain your BHV certificate;
- Start with a contract through Olympia, with the intention of being taken on by the client if suitable, with the prospect of permanent employment.
