As a Greenhouse Worker in Rotterdam, you'll find yourself at the heart of our vibrant greenhouse complex. This role involves a mix of activities that keep our operations running smoothly. Your day-to-day tasks will include working along the production line to plant small plants into trays, a job that requires precision and efficiency. Additionally, you will engage in activities within the greenhouse itself, dealing with larger plants which involves controlling, replanting, and removing weeds. This part of the job is more physical, requiring you to walk, pick up trays, and occasionally bend over.
You will work primarily in the "warehouse part" of the greenhouse complex, where sitting tasks are more common, and in the greenhouse where more mobile tasks are required. The standard working schedule is from Monday to Saturday, with Saturdays being a flexible working day based on our needs.
