As a Road Freight Specialist, you play a key role in international road transport operations around Schiphol. You are the connecting force between customers, carriers and internal teams, ensuring every shipment is handled efficiently, accurately and on time. You don’t just coordinate transport, you own the process.

Your role at a glance

• Coordinating and managing international road freight shipments
• Registering shipments and maintaining accurate transport data
• Preparing, checking and controlling transport documentation
• Monitoring delivery times and shipment progress in real time
• Communicating daily with customers, carriers and logistics partners
• Anticipating risks and resolving issues before they escalate
• Managing priorities across multiple shipments and deadlines
• Adjusting routes and transport instructions when required
• Contributing ideas to improve processes and efficiency
• Working within a professional, international logistics network

This sounds like you

• You are available full-time (40 hours per week)
• You are flexible and comfortable working variable shifts
• You have experience in logistics or transport, or strong ambition to grow into a specialist role
• You have a strong command of English (Dutch is a plus)
• You are eligible for a VGB clearance (minimum 8 years residency in the EU)
• You work structured, accurately and perform well under pressure
• You communicate clearly and think in solutions
• You are a team player who also takes initiative and responsibility
