IHCP is looking for an enthusiastic Sales & Marketing Trainee who wants to learn everything about hospitality sales, marketing, and brand promotion - across six incredible hotels.
At International Hotel Capital Partners (IHCP), we manage a diverse portfolio of hotels: Renaissance Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Hotel, Moxy Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, Mercure Amersfoort City Centre, Moxy & Residence Inn The Hague, and Hilton Garden Inn Leiden.
Our Sales & Marketing team works for all these hotels, so no two days are the same!
What you'll do
You'll support the Sales & Marketing team in everything from client relations and revenue projects to campaigns and events. That includes:
Sales Support
Support account management for corporate clients and tour operators.
Maintain relationships with key partners through calls, emails, and visits.
Follow up on leads and inquiries and assist with offers, proposals, and contracts.
Assist with MICE and group bookings: help organize meetings, events, and site inspections.
Prepare reports and analyses on hotel performance, pricing, and occupancy trends.
Support revenue projects: analyze rates, competitor activity, and new market opportunities.
Help organize sales blitzes and FAM trips to introduce our hotels to new clients and agencies.
Marketing Support
Create marketing materials and content - from flyers and PowerPoint decks to social media visuals.
Support campaigns and promotions by coordinating sales materials and event collateral.
Assist with brand visibility across all five hotels, ensuring our visuals and messages stay on-brand.
Conduct market research on trends, target groups, and competitor activities.
Collaborate with the Marketing team on employer branding and promotional projects.
Administration & Coordination
Maintain CRM systems (SharePoint or Salesforce) and keep sales campaigns up to date.
Support with RFPs, client lists, and documentation for Sales Meetings.
Provide facts & figures and help prepare presentations for the team.
What you bring
You're currently enrolled in a Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or Marketing-related Bachelor's program.
Available for at least five months (starting February 2026).
Eligible to work in the Netherlands (enrolled in a Dutch school or holding an EU/EEA passport).
Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
Analytical and results-oriented with a commercial mindset.
A natural people-person - you connect easily and enjoy building relationships.
Proactive, creative, and detail-oriented.
Familiarity with PowerPoint, Canva, or CRM systems is a plus.
