As a Mechanical Support Technician at our Venlo location, you are the first line of defense against mechanical malfunctions within the team. You are the go-to person for internal teams when issues arise with machinery, production equipment, or automation systems. Your role is crucial in diagnosing and quickly resolving minor mechanical problems. For more complex issues, you collaborate with maintenance or engineering teams to minimize downtime.
A typical day may involve providing first-line mechanical support for production machines, diagnosing issues, and performing basic repairs. You also assist the production and maintenance teams during breakdowns, document problems and actions taken, and escalate to second-line teams when necessary. You proactively identify wear or risks and ensure rapid response times to prevent production delays. Maintaining safety standards is an integral part of your work.

Wie ben je?- MBO level 3 or 4 in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a similar field.
- Experience in a technical support, maintenance, or mechanical service role within a production environment is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, components, and automation.
- A problem-solving mindset with a hands-on, proactive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills in English with colleagues across different shifts and departments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or machine documentation.
- Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, or servo systems is a plus.
- Willingness to work in shifts or be on call when needed might be an opportunity in the future.
