Our client develops and manufactures advanced composite structures for the aerospace sector. As a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, you will play a key role in defining and optimizing quality processes so that all products meet customer expectations and international standards.
Tasks:
As part of a growing QA team, you will be involved in setting up and improving quality assurance processes across projects and the broader organization. Your main tasks include:
Developing and implementing QA plans that ensure compliance with customer and project requirements
Defining inspection steps and creating inspection plans
Ensuring quality across the supply chain and working closely with suppliers
Reviewing and writing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
Leading root cause analyses and implementing corrective and preventive actions
Optimizing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS)
Acting as a liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal teams regarding quality matters
Supporting internal and external audits in compliance with standards such as AS9100

You will work in a close team in the production department. You have a lot of contact with the team leader and foreman of the production department.
You also work a lot together with other colleagues, for example from the Quality and Engineering departments.
Wat wij vragen
We are looking for a strategic yet detail-oriented quality professional. Our ideal candidate has:
A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
3+ years of experience in quality assurance within manufacturing or engineering
Experience in aerospace or composite production is a strong advantage
Familiarity with audit processes (internal and external)
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
A process-driven mindset and knowledge of QA methodologies
Technical knowledge of inspection techniques and tools
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Proficiency in English (Dutch is a plus)
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus
