Driver Trainee DHL

As a warehouse employee at DHL in Amersfoort, you help ensure that goods are placed in the right location. You also have the opportunity to develop yourself into a truck driver with a C/CE driving license. Wat ga je doen?

At DHL in Amersfoort, you’ll get the unique opportunity to follow a professional training program to become a truck driver (C/CE license), including Code 95 certification. While you’re learning, you’ll already gain valuable hands-on work experience in the warehouse, getting to know the entire logistics process—from order to delivery.

During your training, you’ll be guided by an experienced training specialist. In the warehouse, you’ll work on sorting parcels and preparing shipments. You’ll also get an early taste of your future career as a driver: by loading and unloading trucks, you’ll ensure that drivers can head out on time. This way, you’ll learn exactly what the job involves and build a solid foundation for your own career on the road.

You’ll mainly work evening and night shifts, between 16 and 32 hours per week. Exact working hours are arranged with your supervisor. Once you start as a driver, morning and daytime shifts will also be possible.

Wie ben je?

• You have a Category B driver’s license and want to obtain your C/CE license
• You’re eager to start a logistics career and see this as your chance to become a truck driver
• You enjoy working evenings and are flexible for night shifts
• You’re motivated, reliable, and eager to learn
• Experience in logistics or warehouse work is a plus, but not required
• Having your own transportation is convenient but not mandatory
• You live in or near Amersfoort and are willing to travel to Naaldwijk or Amsterdam for training days

• Starting hourly wage: €14.40 (warehouse position)

• After completing your training, driver hourly wage: €17.00 – €19.00
