We are hiring a Forklift Operator with sorting duties for a growing logistics organization in the Roermond area. In this role, you’ll play a key part in the processing of incoming return packaging—handling everything from unloading to sorting and relocating materials.
What will you do?
As a forklift operator, you are a vital link in the logistics process. Your tasks will include:
- Loading and unloading return packaging (crates, kegs, bottles) from suppliers;
- Sorting and relocating empty items to the correct storage location;
- Operating a forklift and electric pallet truck (EPT);
- Communicating with drivers upon arrival;
- Keeping the yard and warehouse organized and clean.
So, you won’t just be driving—you’ll actively help keep the work environment efficient and tidy.

With a warehouse of approx. 15,000 m² and a product range of 9,000 different beverages, this company delivers daily to bars, wholesalers, liquor stores, supermarkets, and specialty shops—with 30 trucks on the road every day.
The work atmosphere is informal, open, and direct. You’ll join a team of 14 logistics colleagues, including 4 fellow forklift operators. Due to the company’s location near the A73 motorway, it’s easily accessible from Roermond, Echt-Susteren, Sittard-Geleen, and Weert.
Wie ben je?- A valid forklift certificate;
- Previous logistics experience is a strong advantage;
- Physically fit and hands-on mentality;
- Able to speak and understand Dutch or English.
- Gross monthly salary between €2.688 and €2.695, including 7.5% ADV allowance (based on a 40-hour workweek);
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per km (net) from 10 km one-way;
- Start through Olympia; possibility of a direct contract with the company after a positive evaluation;
- Full-time position (40 hours/week) with fixed day shifts;
- 150% overtime pay;
- Fixed working hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:30 (your evenings and weekends are free!);
- Work in a friendly, informal team environment with plenty of contact with colleagues.
