Over het werk

As a foreman, you will work for an innovative recycling company that turns old foam into new products, such as subfloors and insulation panels. The mattresses are processed elsewhere. The foam blocks are returned to Alphen aan den Rijn, which is where your work begins.

You are the point of contact for operators and production workers. You monitor progress, quality, and safety and intervene in the event of malfunctions. You also record production data and ensure that goods are handled correctly. Where necessary, you help out in production yourself.

In addition, you will contribute ideas for improvements and implement actions together with the Production Manager. In his absence, you will take over his duties and ensure that the schedule is met.

The team operates the machines, adjusts them, and monitors the process. You will ensure that the correct materials are used, the workplace is tidy, and safety rules are followed. Together, you will ensure an efficient and smooth production process.

Wat wij vragen

• You speak fluently English and have a mbo diploma
• You have experience in a factory or production environment, as well as in leading people
• A valid BHV (Emergency Response) certificate is a strong plus
• You have basic knowledge of MS Office
• You hold a driving license and forklift certificate and have practical experience operating a forklift
• You are willing to work in 2-shift operations in the future (06:00-15:00 and 14:00-23:00) but for now 06:00-15:00 will be yours
