Technical Production Operator

In Hillegom, you can start as an operator in a modern and technologically advanced production environment. You’ll join a 5-shift team producing packaging films that are used in everyday products.

No experience with extrusion? No worries – we’ll teach you everything you need to know!

Werkzaamheden

As an operator, you will set up and operate film-blowing machines (extruders), monitor the production process, and ensure the quality of the output. You’ll be part of a team of around 10 colleagues, with your supervisor actively supporting the work on the floor.

Your tasks include:

• Setting up extrusion machines
• Monitoring the production process and product quality
• Recording production data in the ERP system
• Handling incoming raw materials and finished products
• Communicating during shift handovers

Arbeidsduur en werktijden

You will follow a fixed 5-shift schedule with a repeating cycle of day, night, and evening shifts, each followed by two days off. The pattern is:

D-D-D-OFF-OFF-N-N-N-OFF-OFF-E-E-E-OFF-OFF-D-D-D, and so on.

Shift times:

• Day shift: 08:00 – 16:00
• Evening shift: 16:00 – 00:00
• Night shift: 00:00 – 08:00

This rotating schedule ensures a healthy work-life balance with frequent consecutive days off.

Functie-eisen

• MBO (vocational) level work and thinking ability
• Technically inclined and comfortable with numbers
• Eager to learn, motivated, and a true team player
• Available for 34.4 hours per week, including weekends and night shifts
• Willing to work in a 5-shift rotation
• Excited to grow your skills or learn a new craft
• In possession of your own transport
• At least 18 years old
• Preferably fluent in Dutch at B1/B2 level
