As bartender at Pestana Amsterdam Riverside, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere at our restaurant and bar. The primary responsibility of the Bartender is to prepare and serve a wide range of beverages to our patrons while ensuring that they receive prompt and courteous service. Your passion for mixology, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills will contribute to the success of our bar operations.
What will you be doing:
Skillfully mix and prepare a diverse selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and soft drinks, adhering to standardized recipes and Pestana's quality standards.
Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor, take drink orders, and engage in conversation to enhance the overall guest experience.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the drink menu, including seasonal specials, and provide recommendations to guests based on their preferences and tastes.
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all tools, glassware, and equipment are sanitized and in good working condition.
Proactively suggest premium beverages and additional menu items to guests, increasing revenue opportunities while providing personalized service.
Cash Handling: Accurately process payments, handle cash, and maintain a balanced cash register throughout the shift.
Assist in monitoring bar inventory levels,
Guest Relations: Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction and resolving issues to the best of your ability.

- Proven work experience as a bartender in a 4- or 5-star hotel or cocktail bar is preference.
- Knowledge of various drink recipes, mixing techniques, and garnishing.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering top-notch service.
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
