As a Logistics Employee/Order Picker at GXO in Heerlen, you will ensure that customers receive their orders on time. This is a full-time position in a large, growing department store.
Your role involves collecting orders for products such as clothes and shoes. This involves walking through the warehouse to find the correct items. Working accurately is important because you want customers to receive exactly what they ordered.
You will also prepare orders. This involves packing products neatly and ensuring they are ready for dispatch. You also assist with stock management. This involves keeping an eye on stock levels and replenishing where necessary.
You work fulltime in a five-shift system: 3-4-3 schedule. This schedule is known in advance for the whole year, so you always know when you are working.
For example:
Four times early (06:00–14:00) – two days off
Three times night shift (22:00–06:00) – three days off
Four times late (14:00–22:00) and two days off.
