English Speaking Truck Driver

Wat je gaat doen As a truck driver, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth operation of our logistics processes within the transport department. Your main responsibility is to ensure that trailers are properly loaded and efficiently moved across our company site. You'll be working in close coordination with both the production team and the team leader. Thanks to your hands-on approach and experience with trucks, you’ll be a key contributor to keeping our processes running like clockwork. The position involves a 2-shift schedule, including one night shift every two weeks.Your responsibilities will include:

• Loading: Properly loading trailers with compost on company grounds.
• Internal Transport: Driving trailers to the correct designated areas within the site.
• Team Communication: Staying in close contact with the production staff and team leader to update on workflow and progress.
• Technical Monitoring: Conducting routine checks on the technical state of the yard trucks and promptly reporting any malfunctions.
• Support Role: Acting as the go-to person for incoming external drivers outside regular working hours.

Functie-eisen We’re looking for a proactive and adaptable truck driver who enjoys working in a dynamic logistics environment.

• A valid C driving license and relevant experience as a truck driver.
• Available full-time for 2-shift work, including periodic night shifts.
• Good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
• You have your own accommodation and transport.
• Able to work independently with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset.

Over het bedrijf You’ll become part of the transport department at an agricultural company located in the area of Breda. The site is easily accessible from surrounding cities such as Roosendaal, Dordracht or Oosterhout.
