Metalworking Technician

Over het werk

As a metalworking technician, you’ll take on a wide range of responsibilities. You will work on various (production) assignments. Before starting your tasks, you will set up different machines and review technical drawings. Once you and your manager agree that everything is correctly configured, you will assess the drawings, procedures, and instructions before beginning the work. During production, you’ll pay close attention to quality and quantity requirements. If you notice any deviations, you will report them to your manager so that you can work together on a solution.

In the well-equipped machine park, you’ll operate a variety of machines to produce components used in coffee machines. You are enthusiastic about learning different production techniques and motivated to further develop your skills. You’ll work with machines such as press brakes, robots, lasers, and grinding machines.

You’ll join a fun and friendly team where you can work 40 hours a week. The position is in day shifts from Monday to Friday. In short, this is a job full of variety and challenges! Together with your manager and an enthusiastic team of ten colleagues in Heerhugowaard, you’ll be responsible for the production series in the Metal Shop department.

Wat wij vragen

• You can independently read technical drawings.
• You have completed a vocational (mbo) education, preferably in a technical field.
• You have experience in metalworking.
• You can speak Dutch or have a good command of English.
