De functie

• As an Engineering Coordinator Structural, you are a member of one of their inspiring project teams responsible for realizing their yachts.
• Reporting to the Project Manager Engineering, you oversee and ensure the timely availability of all engineering documents within your assigned technical discipline. The Engineering Coordinator is specialized in a single technical discipline, including Construction, Outfit, Systems, Piping, Electrical, and Interior.
• You develop detailed planning and delivery schedules for engineering documentation in close collaboration with your manager and other stakeholders. Acting as the primary point of contact for Regulatory Authorities, Owner's Representative, Designers, and Subcontractors, you monitor day-to-day progress and alignment of engineering work. You address upcoming planning and progress issues, ensuring alignment among all parties involved. Additionally, you provide guidance to third parties on standards and working methods, ensuring timely and accurate information flow both internally and externally.
• Your approach is result-oriented, ensuring that project goals are achieved on time. Collaborating closely with Partners, you identify and capitalize on potential synergies based on your expertise and mutual respect.
• You also lead, develop, and motivate a functionally assigned team of subordinate in-house professionals.

Jouw profiel

• Higher Vocational Education or Secondary Vocational Education with relevant work experience (mbo+) in the respective discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience, preferably in the maritime or yacht building industry.
• Demonstrate competencies in decisiveness, persuasiveness, and customer orientation.
• Possess a holistic view of the entire process and an ability to understand the big picture.
• Be a proud and passionate technical professional with a strong desire for continuous learning.
• Proactively approach problem-solving with a proactive mindset.
• In-depth knowledge and experience within your technical specialization.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, AutoCAD, and/or Rhinoceros.
• Good command of both written and spoken English.
