Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure IT infrastructure solutions.
• Implement security controls, monitoring, and automation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Design and implement infrastructure as code using configuration management and automation tools.
• Implement, maintain and develop continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Develop and maintain automated tests and deployment scripts for infrastructure and applications.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity, and implement proactive measures to ensure optimal performance.
• Respond to incidents and troubleshoot product issues related to IT infrastructure and applications.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and security threats, and implement best practices to ensure the security and reliability of the IT infrastructure.

You will be part of the agile development team within the ICT Platform & Technology solutions team. In the position DevOps Engineer IT Infra, you have the challenge to take the IT modules of Vanderlande to the next level!

• Monitoring, Backup & Disaster Recovery
• VMWare vsphere 7/8 incl. VSAN

What do we ask from you?

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years (as Bachelor's) or 5+ years of relevant work experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on IT infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure (Operating systems (Windows), VMWare
• Strong scripting skills in one or more programming languages such as Powershell and python.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools and languages such as Ansible, Terraform, Pester, Atlassian toolchain, YAML,
• Experience with security tools and practices, such as vulnerability scanning, CIS-CAT hardening
• Very good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
