De functie

In this role you will have the following duties and responsibilities:

• As a Project Planner, you will be a vital part of one of their dynamic project teams responsible for bringing the yachts to life, reporting to the Project Director.
• Your tasks will revolve around maintaining consistent communication with relevant stakeholders, ensuring the planning remains on course, continuously monitored, and adjusted for timely execution, maximizing profitability and efficiency.
• Your role will encompass maintaining an overarching view of the complete project schedule, based on the building strategy plan, working closely with Project Core Team members and relevant external entities such as co-makers and subcontractors.
• You will be engaged in discussions with the Project Core Team and Project Leaders from third-party collaborators concerning project advancement, discrepancies, and the underlying causes.
• Your adaptability will come to the fore as you identify bottlenecks and potential risks, offering recommendations for mitigating actions and possible remedies when required (e.g., outsourcing, subcontracting, additional staffing, or adjustments to priority within the plan).
• Moreover, you will assess the consequences of change orders on the comprehensive schedule, gathering input from involved parties and collaborating extensively with the Project Core Team and Project Leaders from external collaborators to revise the plan accordingly.

Jouw profiel

• A Higher Vocational Education degree (in Industrial Engineering) or a Secondary Vocational Education qualification coupled with relevant work experience (MBO+).
• 3-5 years of experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked in the maritime industry and/or yacht building sector.
• You resonate with the following competencies: Strategic vision, self-reliance, persuasiveness, and adaptability.
• You are proactive and solution-oriented in your approach.
• You take pride in being a passionate team player who is eager to expand their knowledge and skills.
• Familiarity with MS Office applications and planning software, preferably Primavera.
• A strong command of both written and spoken English.
