The Company

Being global as they are, their teams and services are spread around the globe which makes your job internationally focussed.
In Amsterdam there are two HR teams active. One that is focussed on the administrative branch, which you will be part of and a strategic team.
Most of your direct colleagues are located in different locations, such as your manager who is based in India. The manager of the strategic team however is in Amsterdam and can help you with your daily questions.

Your Role
As an HR Officer you will be the primary point of contact for employees and managers to answer general HR questions. You will be responsible for the workforce administration for Benelux. This includes handling and coordination of all aspects of the employee life-cycle such as hiring, terminations, market adjustments, promotions, country transfers, contract updates, changes to terms and conditions, etc etc.
You'll work with various HR system, at the moment they are moving to People Centre so you'll jump right into this transition! You won't handle payroll yourself, but you will be the point of contact for the hired party who's handling this.
There's a lot to do! You'll also be facilitation New Hire Orientation for the onboarding of new employees, maintaining local employee documentation, supporting employee and manager inquiries and processing requests following the required guidelines. And this is just a selection of tasks you'll be picking up.
Important is that you'll adhere to metrics and SLAs where applicable.  And will be liaising with Government Agencies on all labor, income tax and social security regulations aspects

Who are you
You have an associate's degree in Business Administration, HR, or a related field. You are familiar with HR Administrative support and have around 2-4 years of experience.
You speak and write english flawless. If you also add french to mix that's great, but no requirement. Just like dutch, you can also apply if you only speak english!
Microsoft Office Suite is your friend. You have strong communication skills, with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy. This includes the ability to speak and write clearly to deliver customer service excellence - over the phone, through email, or in other interactions.
But all this aside: you have the ability to work independently and function well in a team and matrix structure
