KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Process and prepare financial and business forms for the purpose of checking account balances, facilitating purchases, etc.
Executes and maintains the financial and administrative processes.
Assist the financial manager in creating financial reports on a regular basis
Liaises with Operation department concerning credit management.
Perform routine calculations to produce analyses and reports as requested by the finance director or manager
Help oversee and manage individual accounts
Create, send, and follow up on invoices
Process all invoices ingoing and outbound. Majority of the invoices are ingoing.
Reconcile any discrepancies or errors identified by conversing with employees and/or suppliers in relation to invoices
Collect and enter data for various financial spreadsheets
Review and audit financial statements and reports, ensure all calculations and data entries are correct
Report any troubling discoveries or suspicion of wrongdoing to the proper authorities
Adhere to the company's financial policies and procedures
Answers question and provide assistance to stakeholders, customers, and clients as needed
Suggest changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost reductions

Vaardigheden

Qualifications:

Secondary degree (MBO) in business administration, finance or accounting required.
At least 3-5 years of experience
Understanding of data privacy standards
Familiarity with business principles and practices
Experienced in working with financial software, experience with Exact is a plus
Affinity with offshore and maritime industry
Good communication skills in Engels and Dutch
