We have an opportunity for you to be part of Philips' international communications team. We are looking for someone who would like to join Philips' Morning Media Monitoring Team. This position is for 6 months with the possibility of extension.

This is a position for 8-12 hours a week. Your day starts at 7am and will finish around 11 am. You will monitor news regarding the company and its competitors, as well as more economic developments, both online as well as in newspapers. Ideally, you can scan content quickly, both in English and Dutch, and you are able to make a case for why a piece of news should be brought to the attention of the leadership of the company.

We are looking for someone that is flexible in terms of their availability. In this job it is important that you can handle multiple and tight deadlines and that you perform well under time pressure, while still focusing on delivering work of a high quality. You will be working in a team with significant autonomy and therefore we are looking for someone that works well with others. The ideal candidate is interested in and has an understanding of news and current affairs and is also fluent in English and Dutch. Other language skills are an advantage.

-Flexible in terms of you availability (at least 8 - 12 hours per week),
-an HBO or WO studies in media and/or communications (preferably you are at the beginning of your studies),
-fluent in both English and Dutch,
-detail-oriented and committed to quality and confidentiality,
-and someone that works well under pressure?
