As a logistics employee in the Eemshaven, you’ll ensure that everything runs smoothly in the data centre. You’ll be working in a modern data centre for a major American client.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for a range of tasks: you’ll be loading and unloading heavy goods, which can sometimes be quite a challenge. But don’t worry, you’ll be working alongside great colleagues who’ll lend a hand when needed. You will also check materials and move them to the correct location, where your eye for detail will come in handy. Furthermore, you will be responsible for assembling and partially installing various racks within the data centre and assisting with other logistics processes. Together with the team, you will ensure that everything runs smoothly in the data centre.
You will work in two shifts, and working days are mainly Monday to Friday, but you may also be asked to help out at weekends to support your colleagues.
This is a long-term role (expected to last at least one year) and there is also the possibility of being taken on by the client on a permanent contract.

The location is easily accessible by car from Winschoten, Delfzijl, Stadskanaal and Veendam. There are free parking spaces at the main entrance.
There is a relaxed atmosphere within the team and you will often work in groups of three on the assembly and installation.

What you bring to the role:
- You’re fit and strong enough to lift and move heavy items. This ensures everything ends up in the right place.
- You have a proficient level of Dutch and/or English. This is important for working well with your colleagues and following the rules and regulations.
- You have a driving licence and your own transport.
- You can apply for a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG)
- You are willing to obtain your VCA certificate
