Manpower is looking for a Lead Technical Support Operator for a company based in Arnhem.

As part of Technical Support, responsibilities include providing direct assistance to service technicians in troubleshooting and repair tasks, with a focus on software-related issues and turbine performance. Key tasks involve creating guides for technicians, planning for stopped turbines, and participating in customer meetings. Additionally, the role entails technical planning for down turbines, aiming to reduce downtime and improve performance. Acting as a technical lead for the site team, responsibilities include liaising between the customer and internal teams, handling turbine issues on a daily basis, and providing advanced remote troubleshooting. The role also involves participating in technical customer meetings, evaluating technical questions, and maintaining guides for technicians. Overall, the position requires strong technical expertise, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to support the company's goals.

Working hours
The working hours in this full-time position from Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 17.00 hours.

Vaardigheden

  • Electrical or mechanical education combined with experience from the wind industry (or, relevant technical education, such as Electrical, Mechanical Engineering background would be beneficial)
  • Experience in the field in troubleshooting or other technical experience with the different Vestas turbines
  • Advanced PC skills, for example with SAP, Microsoft Office suite
  • Good knowledge of WTG control systems
  • Good communication skills in English, both oral and in writing

Competencies
  • Ability to participate effectively as part of a cross-regional team / North Central Europe (NCE) team
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work both with limited supervision and as a part of the team
  • Good pragmatically and problem-solving skills
  • Affinity to work within different systems to identify root-cause and document solutions
  • High attention to detail and a solid commitment to quality
