Scientific Sales Support Specialist

The Scientific Inside Sales Specialist is Responsible for reaching the set revenue target in assigned accounts. Works cooperatively with our direct sales teams to deliver exceptional sales and customer support with the goal to grow revenue at the appropriate gross margin while increasing customer satisfaction to our end users.Your duties and responsibilities include:

  • To identify, evaluate and execute opportunities to supply products to both existing and prospective customers
  • To conduct outbound calls with new and existing customers to maintain relationship and revenue, increase awareness of our product offering, and close additional sales by cross and upselling
  • To cooperate closely with the direct sales teams to identify and qualify leads, prospects, and incoming inquires that fit our strategic objectives and convert them into business
  • To handle OTS price requests, handle bulk + custom pricing requests and sample requests for the assigned accounts
  • Align with global and European marketing activities and price promotions to proactively target customers and drive revenue from existing and new products
  • To create and maintain customer records within our CRM systems to track customer contacts, preferences, and other key data
  • To embrace industry practices and utilize appropriate business tools to drive results
  • Works effectively in an intradepartmental environment to ensure transparency of information and cooperation among departments
  • Willingness to travel to join regional team meetings, join customer visits or attend trainings (max 5%)

  • A fulltime (32 hours are negotiable) position with the possibility of extension
  • Salary based upon experience en knowledge

Vaardigheden

  • BA in Cell Biology, Immunology or similar
  • Good understanding of relevant applications, workflows and products
  • Ideally past sales experience in Life Science market
  • Experience in an international environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent knowledge of English both in word and writing; German, Dutch and/or French are a plus
  • Good understanding of MS Office, knowledge of SFDC and Oracle are a plus
